PASSWORD RESET GUIDE

Step 1: Supply Username

  1. Login to Mapúa Office 365 portal through https://my.mapua.edu.ph or https://portal.office.com.
  2. Supply the username (email accounts provided to you during creation of account).
  3. Click 'Next' button to proceed.
 

Step 2: Reset Password

2-A1: Forgot My Password

  1. Click the 'Forgot my password' link to proceed resetting your password.

2-B: Supply Password

  1. After supplying the supplying the username, supply password.
  2. The password is the default information provided to you during creation of account. If you don't know your password, kindly proceed to DO-IT Office and seek DO-IT Helpdesk for assistance.
  3. Click 'Sign in' button to proceed.

2-B-A1: Reset through Office 365

  1. On Office 365 portal, click the navigation menu (upper left corner) of Office 365 portal.

2-B-A2: Office 365 All Apps

  1. After clicking the navigation menu, click 'All apps' link.

2-B-A3: Office 365 'Reset My Password'

  1. After clicking 'All apps' link, scroll down the menu and click 'Reset My Password' link.

2-B-B1: Reset through myMapúa

  1. On myMapúa portal for student, click the 'Profile' navigation menu (left side) to expand.

2-B-B2: myMapúa 'Reset My Password'

  1. After expanding the navigation menu, click 'Reset My Password' link.
 

Step 3: Get Back Into Your Account

  1. Supply the 'User ID'.
  2. The 'User ID' is the email (@mymail.mapua.edu.ph) or (@mapua.edu.ph) provided to you during creation of account.
  3. Supply the characters in the pircture or the words in the audio.
  4. Click 'Next' button to proceed.
 

Step 4: I Forgot My Password

  1. After supplying account information, click the 'I forgot my password' button to reset the password.
  2. Click 'Next' button to proceed.
 

Step 5: Contact Method for Verification

  1. There will be three methods ('Email my alternate email', 'Text my mobile phone', and 'Call my mobile phone') provided to reset your password.
  2. Select one button from the methods.

5-A1: Email My Alternate Email

  1. After selecing 'Email my alternate email', click 'Email' to proceed.

5-A2: Verification Code through Email

  1. Supply the verification code that was sent on the registered email address.
  2. Click the 'Next' button to proceed.

5-B1: Text My Mobile Phone

  1. After selecing 'Text my mobile phone', supply the phone number (country code + authentication phone number) (e.g. 639876543210) registered on the password registration portal.
  2. Click the 'Text' to proceed.

5-B2: Verification Code through Text

  1. Supply the verification code that was sent on the phone number.
  2. Click the 'Next' button to proceed.

5-C1: Call My Mobile Phone

  1. After selecing 'Call my mobile phone', supply the phone number (country code + authentication phone number) (e.g. 639876543210) registered on the password registration portal.
  2. Click the 'Call' to proceed.

5-C2: Verification through Call

  1. There will be a phone call to proceed resetting the password.
 

Step 6: Supply New Password

  1. After verifying the code through phone or email, supply the new password to be used in portal.
  2. Click the 'Finish' button to proceed.
 

Step 7: Sign In with New Password

  1. After accepting the new password, there will be a message indicating that the password has been reset.
  2. Click the 'click here' button to return back to login page.
